Good Afternoon, I installed qmail-vpopmail-sqwebmail-qmailadmin-serialmail-autoresponder-checkpassword-ezmlm
and all worked fine until my client wanted enable roaming users. I recompiled and installed (vpopmail only) as per instructions. however now: Using sqwebmail: a user can send to themselves, to another user in the same domain, and differnet domain (both hostsed on the server) and respond. Can send to a user in a domain out side the server. Using Netscape mail or outlook sending mail from a secaond mail server to the first will get: if sent to the primary domain User unknown (550) and the user is there and working under sqwebmail or sending mail from a secaond mail server an aliased domain on the server: <<< 553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1) but the domain is in rcpthosts the start script for smtp is from the vpopmail FAQ (Q4) and for the pop3 the install (also Q5 of the FAQ) telnet the box is fine. telnet ipnumber 110 and you get +OK [EMAIL PROTECTED] +ERR authorisation first ********* any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks ashley
