I am familiar with Plesk. I think it's done pretty well and is a great web interface for virtualhosting on Unix and as such is great for people that don't know how to administer their own server. It integrates its own install of Qmail, Apache, MySQL, etc and as with any integrated third party web based administration, its VERY dependant on stuff being where it wants it to be, ie where Plesk installed it.
Plesk includes SMTP after pop and virtually all of the other features of the Vpopmail/Inter7 suite. So it really comes down to using one or the other, I would not recommend trying to use Vpopmail and Plesk although it may be possible. If you were to hack it, you'd have to remember that changes in the web interface in Plesk would have to be disabled/modified, etc. I like the Inter7 suite because I am familiar with it and it is more more "modular" then a completely integrated solution like Plesk. I would recommend Plesk as an out of the box solution for a non-administrator. My 2 cents. -Scott R Henry Ho writes: > Hi everyone, > > I looked through the archives but I didn't find anyone asking this before. > I have a mail server running vpopmail with about 600 domains, and it runs > really well.
