Ok, here's what seems to control the problem for me:

--enable-default-domain

I can consistently reproduce this. If --enable-default-domain is used,
valias -s <domain> does NOT core dump, but behaves properly. If it's not
used, it will core dump when a domain is used instead of an email address.

And as reported before, when I used a mysql account with no password,
"valias -s" (no other arguments) will core dump as well.

Can anyone else verify this?
