vpopmail and php

I tried to compile php4 with the option --with-vpopmail(with or without
"=/home/vpopmail"), but i found this compile error:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lvpomail
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

I've installed vpopmail 5.0

Again, is there anyone who can tell me how to build a standalone module for
php? (as for mysql,pgsql,readline .. etc)??
