Hallo,
I'm trying to run both, the APOP patch from Vladimir Kabanov that changed
vchkpw and qmail-popup to work with either POP3 or APOP (runs great) and
the SMTP_AUTH patch from [EMAIL PROTECTED] that changes qmail-smtpd to
authenticate via (e.g.) vchkpw.
Both patches do not work together as the SMTP_AUTH patch does not use the
new vchkpw calling syntax, so I get an error "vchkpw: Error in getting
user/pass combination".
If I set result = 1 some line above the line throwing this error,
everything works fine (so far). This is a dirty hack but my C is good
enough to patch qmail-smtpd by myself (and this must be done).
Does anybody of you have this problem or is coder enough to show me, which
lines I have to add to Vladimirs patch to solve the problem and have both
APOP and SMTP_AUTH running together happily?
btw, I'm running:
qmail 1.03 (patched)
vpopmail 4.10.32 (patched)
