At least there is. The new daemontools seem to use the init-process to
respawn.
So you may have a look at /etc/inittab, Daniel, and find the matching lines
there.
Uncomment them with a # and do a 'kill -HUP 1' or 'killall -HUP init'.
If the supervised processes still exist after that kill them manually, they
should not become respawned.
