IMP and Squirrelmail are both PHP and not bad. But they obviously
won't
support filtering provided by vpopmail. If you like to have something
more fully blown as to groupware features, take a look into
phpgroupware (thought I'm not so sure whether they ever get it
stable or working with different domains out of one DB,
which is vital for a hosting environment IMNSHO) which also uses
squirrel as mail client.
