moving domains ???????

Hey people,

   Maybe this is a newbie question but i have looked all over and cannot
find any info on this.

  How can i move domains ( and their respective users ) from one vpopmail
server to another ? both servers use cdb. I thought that a simple transfer
of directories from one to the other would work , but for some reason it
does not work .

  I desperately need to move this over. Any help/idea/suggestions will be
much appreciated.
