How are you running qmail-pop3d? inetd? tcpserver?

 

Where exactly is it hanging during the auth process?

I have vpopmail with mysql and it is really slow to authenticate the user, It
takes like 20 to 30 secends to do this. Any ideas on what could cause this or
is it normal for that to happen with mysql.
