Same with my setup. No problem.

Same here, until I made a "su vpopmail;make clean; make; exit; make
install-strip" of qmailadmin.
Changing password with vpasswd and qmailadmin works flawless with sqwebmail,
and ofcourse also when changing from inside sqwebmail.

Try the re-compiling and installation of qmailadmin, and you'll see it again
behaves ;-)
