Ok.
Look, I'm using in my system a default domain too. But, since I remember, I
didn't use that configure option.
Instead, I compiled the program without aditional options, created a domain
with the vadddomain, and created a symbolic link from the domain directory
to the users directory, like this:
cd /home/vpopmail
rm -rf users
ln -s /home/vpopmail/domains/mydomain users
It works well, I read this procedure somewhere...

Thank you for your answer! I thought that ~vpopmail/users should work for the
default domain. If it doesn't, then I don't understand why is it there ... If
I create domain1.com (the dns domain) as a virtual domain it will work fine,
I've already tried that, but again why do they say in the manual & FAQ that
"vadduser user" (without domain) will add the user to the default domain? I've
read question 0 but I didn't compile vpopmail with the option
--enable-roaming-users=<domain name> ... I used
--enable-default-domain=<domain name>. This is another confusing thing! If you
read the Administration Guide for vpopmail you will find that
--enable-roaming-users=n/y is the correct specification &
--enable-default-domain should work for the default domain.
I could make "users" a symlink to the default domain created as a virtual one,
or I could just ignore "users" but again I thought that you can get around
this with the "users" folder and the command "vadduser user" ...
Thanks again! Could somebody say "Let there be light ?" ...
