I think vpopmail supports smtp auth. if you want to use only specific
client, you had better run tcpserver with another port, I think.
ex.
tcpserver -H -R -x/home/vpopmail/etc/tcp.smtp.cdb -c100 \
-uUID -gGID 0 10025 \
/var/qmail-smtpd /home/vpopmail/bin/vchkpw /bin/true \
2>&1>/dev/null &
