courier imap 1.2.2

Dear All,

Does courier imap 1.2.2 work with vpopmail 4.9.5 +
mysql .

I tried compiling but make fails giving undefined
reference to mysql errors

I even tried replacing preauthvchkpw.c given on
inter7.com/vpopmail web site but same error.

Can anybody please help me...
