Yes, we use qmailadmin to manage our accounts. We had a dns error and we
had to resetup the accounts we did a vdeldomain and vadddomain and then this
problem arose. Below is the rcpthosts / locals files if I'm understanding
your correctly to send anywhere across the net or recieve from anywhere I
need to remove everything within rcpthosts and locals and resetup the
accounts via vdeldomain and vadddomain... correct?

Hope the below is what you need!
Thanks ahead of time! :)

rcpthosts file:

localhost
ns.virtual-support.net
ns2.virtual-support.net
virtual-support.net
harborbaydesigns.com

locals file:

localhost
ns.virtual-support.net
ns2.virtual-support.net
virtual-support.net
harborbaydesigns.com

me file is:

ns.virtual-support.net

default domain is:

virtual-support.net

default delivery is:

./Maildir/

plusdomain is:

virtual-support.net

What is the exact entry you've got in control/rcpthosts and control/locals?
Are you intending to control this domain through qmailadmin or not? If you
want to use qmailadmin/vpopmail to control that domain, you need to remove
it from control/rcpthosts and control/locals and run
~vpopmail/bin/vadddomain harborbaydesigns.com and then enter what you want
to be the postmaster password and add all the accounts you want to receive
mail into it. If you are just looking to have it controlled by /etc/passwd
instead, then you have to make sure the full domain name is in both of those
files. Also, it looks like it's rejecting the from: address and not any of
the harborbaydesigns.com addresses (or at least it doesn't show who you were
trying to email). How are you controlling who can use your server to send
outgoing mail? Is it possible that you haven't incuded your IP address in
the list of those allowed to send mail through your server?

Slowly working out the problems but now

the domain(harbor), is in both the control/rcpthosts and the control/locals
file

The message could not be sent because one of the recipients was rejected by
the server. The rejected e-mail address was '[EMAIL PROTECTED]'.
Subject 'TEST', Account: 'General Information', Server:
'harborbaydesigns.com', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '553 sorry, that
domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1)', Port: 25,
Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 553, Error Number: 0x800CCC79

any idea's?? I'm rather lost at this one!!!
