... vacation is what you want :-)

autoresponders in qmailadmin can be considered to be some kind of aliases - 
no real vacation cound be achived by only using autoresponders.

1. get vpopmail 4.8.9
2. read filter.txt
3. create a autoresponder like [EMAIL PROTECTED]
4. create a .vpopfilter with two lines like:
    -    To      [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED]     -
    -    To      [EMAIL PROTECTED] .       -

(be shure to separate tokes by tab's !)

the first line forwards the mail to the autoresponder an the second 
delivers it localy.

that will do what you want.
