Not at all, playing around with the .deb i finally got pointed at, i recognized that suddenly some USB Devices showed up, which i had plugged in new. After that i saw i did not reboot since the Updates. So i did and - guess what - USB now works fine. I am not sure, if the Update told me that a reboot might be needed...
