"vmlite" presents itself as being a virtualization product, and (in that
sense) it is somewhat similar to VirtualBox-OSE, one of the
virtualization products produced by Sun MicroSystems. They are NOT the
same, but neither even pretends such.

Is it genuine? Obviously it IS genuine. Is it "some sort of virtualbox
ripoff?" As I said, it is a vaguely similar product produced by a
completely separate company. Is it some OTHER kind of ripoff? It
"might" -- or might NOT -- seem to be such, depending upon what you
"might" -- or might NOT -- be expecting of it.

If you are a VirtualBox user, you should consider whether or not you are
satisfied. If so, perhaps you should obey the cliche that "If it ain't
broke, don't 'fix' it." If you are NOT a VirtualBox user, consider
seriously both the claims made for each product by responsible sources
and consider your objectives or purposes. THEN first try the product
whose claims are closest to your needs; if THAT is less-than-adequate,
consider trying the other.

I think that this analysis is rather basic and simple for anyone who has
any business discussing the topic at all. This entire message is a
personal opinion ONLY. And I do NOT, in any way, represent either
product or firm!
