It sounds like you created a Solaris VM but you haven't installed the
O/S. 

Think of of a VM (Virtual Machine) as a fresh computer with a raw
disk; no operating system.  You'll need to install the Operating
System first before you can use it.

If the above is true, you'll really want to look at the
documentation.  If you need a specific pointer within the
documentation, please say so.  It'd be very kind of you though to look
at the documentation first though.  ;)
