That doesn't work and a little Googling showed my why.  When the Nokia
software disconnects and reconnects the phone's USB connection it
changes the Product ID (and other bits and pieces maybe) so that the
USB filter doesn't allow it to reconnect.

The fix is to remove everything except the Name: and Vendor ID:
entries from the USB filter, the update software then manages its
multiple reconnects without a problem.

Thanks for coming back anyway, it helped me search more specifically
in Google.  It might be useful to add something about this specific
problem to the documentation (or a FAQ somewhere) as there were a
*lot* of hits on Google about the problem but not all that many where
the solution had been found.
