I have installed a fedora9 guest on virtual ide. I wanted to try switch this
from ide primary master to sata0.

Linux then doesn't boot, saying 'no logical volumes found'. The root is on
lvm, and when booted as virtual ide, it goes through 'searching for physical
volumes' and finds the lvm. The disk partitioning is the fedora9 default.

Is there any way to do this (I read that SATA might be faster)?
