Can you try the latest mercurial commit ?
There is a new dynamic option
UWSGI_CHDIR
It will chdir to the specified directory before every request.
This is very useful for django (but i think at a lot of way it can be useful)
As a test i have installed two pinax virtualenv
DJANGOVENVS/pinax1
DJANGOVENVS/pinax2
with a 'pinaxsite' project in each dir (i have renamed pinax.wsgi to pinax.py)
In nginx i have wrote my vhosts as this:
server {
listen 8080;
server_name sirius.local;
location / {
include uwsgi_params;
uwsgi_pass 127.0.0.1:3031;
uwsgi_param UWSGI_PYHOME /Users/roberto/DJANGOVENVS/pinax1;
uwsgi_param UWSGI_SCRIPT deploy.pinax;
uwsgi_param UWSGI_CHDIR
/Users/roberto/DJANGOVENVS/pinax1/pinaxsite;
}

server_name localhost;

include uwsgi_params;

Then i start uwsgi :
./uwsgi -s :3031 -M -p 10 --vhost --no-site
It works flawlessly for me
