At the meeting yesterday, I said I think we should remove text about the X.500 directory and some people, quite reasonably, wanted to see the text. A diff is attached. You can also find it at https://github.com/richsalz/draft-ietf-uta-rfc6125bis/pull/10 It removes references to X.500, X.501, X.509, and X.520 and about 80 other lines of text. I am, perhaps, too proud that the branch is named “rmdir” :)
