what format should this data be in? Is there a common file type for this kind of trouble shooting?

In terms of my intentions, I would like to same 20Mhz of spectrum (88Hmz-108Mhz) at a rate of ~20Mhz, the RF team has told me that should be enough to test the quality of various FM streams in the space. The idea is that you could analyze the entire RF space in a geographic location but also run assessments on the quality of audio streams being broadcasted over the air.
So, you need your sample-rate to be 20Msps, rather than 1Msps.

The RX gain-control range on the WBX card is 31.5dB, so for off-the-air measurements, I'd suggest a higher value, like 20.
