Hi Eric, The prototype is very crude, but yes a pluggable UI is the goal. This prototype was thrown together to demo at Spark Summit in New York. It is HTML with JQuery UI, using subtle CSS transitions. My Colleague Michael Chen has been working on implementing the drag drop directly into Zeppelin. He's had very limited time to put towards Zeppelin, so I'm hoping there is interest from other contributors, to keep the momentum. I'll check in with Michael to see if we can share work in progress.
