Err…. You didn’t even try to click the link? :) It’s not possible to repeat information in all places in the wiki obviously. I’m sure you can understand that. For ex you’re on tomcat but other users are on other servlet containers and if we spread out the information about there memory needs across tens of pages in the wiki, it is then very difficult to update it when memory requirements change across time and we’re sure to forget places. This is why the wiki has links… In the case at hand it’s even better because the link on the "give enough memory to Java” sentence was pointing to the troubleshooting section of the **same** page with detailed information and a link to the memory requirements page. So I’d like to improve our doc but there’s only so much we can do. The only option I can think of would be to prepare a VM/docker container with tomcat already set up but even that won’t solve all the needs since some users won’t want to run XWiki in a container.
