I don’t understand what you mean. You said you tried to delete the Syntax Highlighting Application and then the next sentence says that Highlight JS Macro remains. Of course it remains since you didn’t uninstall it. BTW don’t delete pages, instead prefer uninstalling the extension from the Administration page.
