This is not a feature AFAIK and it looks like a bug. It seems it’s been fixed 
in more recent versions though so if you can I’d recommend that you try 
upgrading your XWiki version.

Note that I don’t know much about the WYSIWYG’s internals so maybe someone else 
will have some better idea.
