I think I've seen this behavior take place with the WYSIWYG editor in the past due to wrongly closed links and content that got duplicated in link labels but I haven't been able to reproduce it in a while... The best would be for you to provide a full step-by-step description of what you're doing when you edit that page and how to reproduce the problem locally.
