out :)

In case others might wonder the same thing,
My solution was:

String contentType = "";
try{
    contentType = ((TextAreaClass)
                     thisProperty
                     .getObject()
                     .getxWikiClass(context)
                     .getField(thisProperty.getName())
                  )
                     .getContentType();
}catch(Exception e){}


it might not be the best, but It seems to work.
