Shiva, If users use XWiki as a way of managing document version then this scenario could happen.
I guess it could be a future enhancement to provide checking out/in of documents to prevent other users accidently checking out documents another person is editing. This could be done manually by the users noting in the wiki page that they've checked out one or more documents though it would be better to have this feature built into XWiki.
