The answer to my last message is yes, you have tried to follow the 
proposed link :-)

One thing, at least, that is not clear for me: do you compulsory need to 
use Eclipse in your project? Or the your "portal" could relay just on 
XWiki already developed features?

Please, consider these two tutorials. I thing they will help you to have 
a clearer idea about XWiki, how it is designed and where you must go 
next for your project.
