I have some web services running on tomcat and I am trying to figure out the best way to have 1 tomcat instance running all 3 environments. So the tomcat would run dev, test, and production on one tomcat instance. I don't want to install 3 instances of tomcat on the customers machine for running the different environments.
I guess the way I would like it to work is to have the web services have the same name regardless of the environment. The easy way to think about it is to have each environment running on a different port. Is this possible? Or would it be easier to have a virtual host? For now I just need to be pointed in the correct direction on what is the best way to handle this situation with tomcat. If you do have a suggestion and know how to set it up then please pass it along. Thanks, Susan =========================================================================== Susan G.
