This works fine with Tomcat 5 and Tomcat 6!
Tomcat 7 changes the link when the page is shown in the browser:

href="../styles/tabStyles.css"></link>
How can I avoid this?
It is very, very unlikely that Tomcat is changing the content of a html page.
What is this, a static page ?
