Hi. Could you please post a version of server.xml without the comments. They are very helpful as documentation but make the file extremely difficult to read. Also, I would check to see if the problem is because the driver jar could not be found or because of some other problem. It's easy enough to try a connection directly (no jdbc pool) just to see if the jar is found. Lastly (and maybe I missed it in the thread), could you post a complete stack trace including any root causes and related exceptions from when the webapp was started?
