Are you referring to the first period in "D2DFaceletViewHandler.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException"? That does look a little odd. I've tried re-creating the issue/log entry to double check, but can't seem to reproduce that exact error.
Yes, the jar file with that class is included in the war.
