Windows, Mysql, Java 1.6.0_13

I was able to deploy the JasperServer war to JBoss just fine after setting up
my data sources, so this is no longer a critical issue, although it would be
nice to be able to deploy just using Tomcat.

You're using Windows 95 & MySQL 2.1?
I'm surprised...

What about the DB resource config from server.xml, or the app context.xml or wherever?

5.5.what?

Which OS, DB& JVM? Exact versions please.

If you are on linux for example, there's probably a catalina.out in the
logs directory. The contents may be illuminating.

Please also post the DB resource definition and say where you've defined
it. (Sanitise it for usernames and passwords.)
