tomcat6w is for 32-bit and 64-bit tomcat6 you need 32-bit if using a 32-bit JVM and 64-bit if using a 64-bit JVM There have been various packaging improvements that will be available in 6.0.21 onwards. In the meantime, you can get the 64-bit files from a tomcat 5.5.28 download. The 64-bit versions in bin/procrun. You'll need to rename tomcat5.exe to tomcat6.exe.
