As far as my personal experience is, Tomcat 5.5.x runs just fine with Java 1.6 instead of 1.5. No special care was needed. > Anyone know where this support is documented? That depends on what you mean by "support". If you mean it in a loose way, then that "and above" in RUNNING.txt literally includes "1.6". That is all. Apache is not a commercial vendor, so "support" here means just that.
