I have put the ipv6 address in two places in server.xml. Those are:

<Membership className="org.apache.catalina.tribes.membership.McastService"
                                address="228.0.0.8"
                                bind="fc00:10:112:107:0:0:0:236"
                            port="45564"
                            frequency="500"
                            dropTime="3000"/>

                            <Receiver
className="org.apache.catalina.tribes.transport.nio.NioReceiver"
                            address="fc00:10:112:107:0:0:0:236"
                            port="4200"
                            autoBind="100"
                            selectorTimeout="5000"
                            maxThreads="6"/>

exception that i am getting is:
Apr 3, 2009 11:32:34 AM org.apache.catalina.tribes.transport.ReceiverBase

I tried putting ipv6 address in square brackets also... but it did not work

Any help will be appreciated..
