what does the following command give you? # netstat -ltpn

I've installed Tomcat5.5 on Debian but when I try to load the test page at mysite.com:8080 (in this case bbtdev.com:8080) I get a "Page Load Error": "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I also tried port 8180. I think I am missing a step. Can anyone help?
