theoretically if you're mirroring you should see no difference
(although you might see different behaviour from the JVM binaries..but that 
*should be* negated by having same JVM version)
specifically I would check OS specific binaries at.. 
%JRE_HOME%\bin\server
%JRE_HOME%\bin\client
%JRE_HOME%\bin
