The documentation is actually very clear on making mod_jk - you just have to read, understand and - most important - also follow the links in the documentation. I know it's time-consuming since there are tons of docs for either Apache and Tomcat. However: We all had to learn it the hard way through the docs since nobody is born as an Apache / Tomcat-expert. To give you a start, take a look here: http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/webserver_howto/apache.html (btw., this is a link I'm now already posting at *least the 3rd time*...) Now scroll down and take a look at the following paragraphs: - Obtaining mod_jk - Building mod_jk on Unix You might also want to take a look at the paragraph "Installation". And I *completely* disagree with you that the docs there are not very clear.
