Happy to. I won't be there for most of it as I'll be training but a number of the others should be. I'll try and pop in during the breaks. I have only been to one of these but the format is folks with a common interest sit around a table in a room that has plenty of power and bandwidth (probably wireless). The Tomcat folks tend to work on things (bugs and features) individually but it is helpful to have other committers on hand to bounce ideas off. You can also hassle them to get the +1's you need and get stuff done quickly. There weren't any Tomcat users that I saw at the hackathon last time but as a user if there is a bug you'd like to fix or a new feature you'd like to work on then you'll have folks around to give you help / feedback on your proposed approach / patch and commit it for you if appropriate. In terms of prep, if you want to work on a bug/feature then the obvious of making sure you have a working build environment etc and any advance work you can do would be good. > Hope to see you there for a *yuck* Heinecken...
