I omit the whole quoting to save traffic for clarity. Do I understand you correctly, that after you killed the first tomcat (in my understanding the one which fires soap requests, tomcat 5) than all the RUNNABLE threads in the second tomcat (the one that answers soap, tomcat 6 with xfire) went away and it (tomcat) was idle?
