(I'll assume the above is sarcastic, and not meant to be factual. A couple of trillion dollars is a lot of money, regardless of the exchange rate.) Actually, spaces have been allowed in file names since reasonably early in UNIX history; however, since UNIX users back then were smarter than the average Microsoft, spaces and other odd characters were avoided unless obfuscation was desired.
