It's normally just bin/bootstrap.jar; probably not explicitly defined in the 
docs, just discernable from the scripts.

Do you have anything in CLASSPATH?  You shouldn't.

Don't know; this would require more research.  Do you have a stack trace for 
the class not found exception?
