Hi , I went for jdk5.0 . but still when i type : " java -version" it shows that
java version "1.4.2_12" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.2_12-b03) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.2_12-b03, mixed mode) why is it so. i went for jdk1.5.0_13-linux-i586.rpm please help me.
