Hi All, I have installed Tomcat5.5 on CENTOS 4, which is located on a remote machine, and I have configured the environment variables, and everything else. However when I try to start Tomcat, using this command:
$CATALINA_HOME/bin/startup.sh I only get as far as this (this is what is shown in PUTTY): Using CATALINA_BASE: /usr/local/tomcat Using CATALINA_HOME: /usr/local/tomcat Using CATALINA_TMPDIR: /usr/local/tomcat/temp Using JRE_HOME: /usr/java/latest And no further... What am i doing wrong??? Please advise. Thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you somebody soon.
