Quick question about memory allocation - could the issue described below be
a product of the settings in the following startup allocation:

            CATALINA_OPTS="$CATALINA_OPTS -Xms256m -Xmx1024m"

Thanks,

Dwight

Subject: TOMCAT 5.0.28 stability

Hello,

I am currently running several WEBAPPS on a 5.0.28 platform and experience
operational or resource issues. At certain times during fully operational
status the TOMCAT service will stop running and essentially requires a
restart. I never seem to see problems with the OS X server OS just the
TOMCAT platform. The hardware analyst that maintains the server seems to
think that it is a TOMCAT version/memory allocation issue. I am running all
of the apps successfully without failure within a testing environment.
Please offer an explanation.

Thanks
