and here's the JAVA_HOME variable from the PowerBook (OS X,
10.4.9) that I'm sending this from:
/System/Library/Frameworks/JavaVM.framework/Versions/1.5.0
So /if it were me/ I'd change that line in the OP's script :-)
Either way works but Apple seems to promote the JAVA_HOME=/usr
